Laird: Major William Walton CD (Retired)

Peacefully at his home on Sunday April 1, 2012 at the age of 92. Bill Laird, beloved husband of the late Mai Laird (nee Cox). Loving father of Jacqueline Laird (John McNaughton) Vancouver; James Laird (Diane Lougheed) Kingston. Cherished grandfather of Jeremy, Kimberly, Jocelyn, Rhyan and Wesley. Great grandfather of Kensington and Asher. Dear brother of Ian and Neil Laird. Predeceased by his parents James and Rebecca Laird and by 2 brothers James and Harry Laird. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held in our chapel on Thursday at 3 pm. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.tompkinsfuneralhome.ca Bill and Mai retired happily to their beloved farm “Kirkland”
