Your mother was my dearest friend. She helped me in so many ways, not only a friend but often like a mother. She provided me a home and a soft shoulder when life was a challenge.
Although distance grew between us over the years, it was only by miles. We remained close friends and we always kept in touch.
I wish so much I could be there today, with the four of you and your families, to honour your mother.
